Please note that all pricing is in US Dollars.  We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

License, Regulatory and Standards Compliance Fee

Effective May 1,2018 we have instituted a License, Regulatory and Standards Compliance Fee.

This fee will be added to each invoice as our costs have grown exponentially, but our rates have not increased in years.

This fee will cover new/rising state and federal regulatory compliance fees, state licensing and customer trade usage fee, state recording requirements, standards maintenance costs, third party customer regulatory costs, secure documentation access and data protection.

Terms and Conditions for Repair Services

We offer in-house depot repair services at each of our branches.  Please note that there is a $50 minimum evaluation fee for time spent by our Technicians to determine what is wrong with the equipment that is shipped or brought into our locations for repair unless the repair is covered under warranty.  Because most weighing and measurement devices on the market today are very sensitive pieces of electronic equipment and they generally don’t have built in diagnostics, it takes our highly trained Technicians some time to determine what is wrong with the device so that we can quote customers an accurate cost for the repair.  If customers choose to have us repair their device, the evaluation fee will be put towards the cost of the repair.  The fee is only charged if the customer requests their equipment be returned to them without being repaired.

Terms and Conditions for Credit Applications

Please note that it generally takes 5 – 7 working days to process a new credit application.

We also accept Visa, MasterCard, wire and bank transfers and cash.

Financing may be an option on some purchases.  We work with a third party financing company, and we can put you in contact with them to discuss your lease-purchase options.

Terms and Conditions for Restocking and Abandoned Equipment

In the event that any equipment needs to be returned or exchanged, a restocking fee may apply.  JP Bowlin will do our best to assist customers in the event of a return but restocking fees are decided upon by the individual manufacturers and may vary from 10% of list price to no returns accepted, in some cases.

We have limited storage space at our facilities.  Therefore, equipment left at our facility for more than 45 days after we notify customer of completion of repair or calibration or more than 45 days after customer notifies us that they do not what their equipment repaired may be sold, recycled or otherwise disposed of.
