Happy Flag Day!
Annually celebrated on June 14th, Flag Day was established by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916 to honor the adoption of the original US flag by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. Often considered a warmup for the Fourth of July, Flag Day reminds us that we are one united country.
Possible activities as suggested by National Today include making a healthy patriotic snack, dressing in red, white and blue or using an American Flag trivia game to teach your kids or friends some true flag history.
Hope you all have a great Flag Day on Sunday!
